Moving forward...

A Blazing Gilded Age is my latest historical novel. The intent of this venture had many facets, which naturally included telling readers about some very bold American figures, such as Teddy Roosevelt, J.P. Morgan, Vanderbilt, Edison, Tesla, Mark Twain etc. that shaped this age, along with the astounding bursts of ingenuity that propelled America into a world power. But as readers are already remarking, A Blazing Gilded Age is a harrowing saga about a poor family struggling to achieve the American dream, a dream they thought was promised to them, but soon realize it's a cruel joke, for many reasons.

And it is this human story that has touched readers, and rightfully so. One reviewer found it "deeply affecting", while another stated it is "history with feelings." The Gilded Age was indeed a golden era for some at the top, but the large majority were relegated to a life of abuse and misery. Hence, this story needed to be told.
